Top 30 Albums of 2019

That time of year has rolled around again. My favourite albums of the year are now up in the music section here.

As it’s also the end of a decade, I’ll be doing a chart for that too. I’ve decided on the 100 albums, but I’m still finalising the order of them, so will post that next weekend.

I’m so out of the loop with modern music these days, which is crazy, as it is probably easier than it has ever been to access it. As that’s the case, I’ve heard precisely three of these (Jeffrey Lewis, Sleeper and the Divine Comedy) all of which I enjoyed. I do like Jenny Lewis though, and have been meaning to check out her new one for a while, so maybe I’ll do that at work tomorrow. I know nothing of their output, but I love the name Biscuithead & The Biscuit Badgers, so will add them to the list too!
