Albums Of The Year: 2017

It’s time for my Albums Of The Year post! I haven’t found it as strong a year as last year, but there have still been enough great albums to come up with a decent top 40. Check them out here.

One Response to Albums Of The Year: 2017

Yay! Always look forward to your list. Looking through it, I realise how few new albums I’ve heard this year. I’ve bought (I’m old and still buy CDs) or had bought for me, the Jarvis Cocker & Chilly Gonzalez, Rose Elinor Dougall, Magnetic Fields and Jens Lekman albums, but I think that’s all I’ve heard. They’re all great though.
I really need to check out the Mark Morriss, Paul Draper, Euros Childs and Sweet Baboo albums.
Also, how did Grandaddy release a new album and I didn’t even realise?!
Will definitely give the Indelicates album a listen, as I’ve very much enjoyed the few tracks of theirs I’ve heard (mostly courtesy of yourself).
Are there any albums due out in 2018 that you’re looking forward to? What’s next for music blogging Chantal?
