Top 20 Albums of 2012 (as of 23/12/2012)

Yes, I only managed a top 20 this year. Partly because there weren't many albums that I got particularly excited about, but also because there were a lot of albums that I just didn't get round to listening to.

1. Frida Hyvönen - To The Soul
Yep, it's a Swedish top 2 for me this year! I really love this album, though it did take a while to fully grow on me and claim its number 1 spot, though I think that's a good thing. I'd listened to it a few times and enjoyed it, but then I listened to it on the way home from work one evening and it just sounded perfect on headphones whilst walking through a cold and dark Toronto. It's an album to get immersed in and I really love Frida's voice, particularly on tracks like 'Farmor' and 'Hands'.
